Here is exactly what to expect when you place an order with PetsDad. No fake promises, no fine print surprises.

Where we ship

We currently ship to the United States only (excluding U.S. territories). We do not ship internationally yet — we are working on it. There are no customs or import charges on US deliveries.

Processing time

We process orders within 1–2 business days of payment confirmation. You will receive an order confirmation email immediately after checkout, and a separate shipping confirmation with your tracking number once the order is on its way.

Delivery times

Delivery typically takes 7–15 business days from the date your order ships. This is a real estimate based on our shipping partners, not a best-case scenario we put in the fine print. Most orders arrive closer to the 7–10 day end of that range. Orders containing multiple items (including bundles) may arrive in separate packages — each gets its own tracking number.

Carriers

Orders are delivered by USPS, UPS, or FedEx, depending on the item and your location. Your tracking number tells you which carrier is handling your delivery.

Shipping costs

Free standard shipping on orders of $49 or more. Orders under $49 are charged a flat rate shown at checkout before payment — typically between $5 and $9 depending on the item, and some items ship free. No hidden fees are ever added after checkout.

Tracking

Once your order ships, you will receive an email with your tracking number. You can use that number to track your package directly with the carrier. If your tracking has not updated in 5 business days after your shipping confirmation, email us at contact@petsdad.com and we will look into it.

Missing or incomplete orders

If part of your order is missing, first check your tracking — multi-item orders can arrive in separate packages a few days apart. If something is still missing after all packages have arrived, email us with your order number and we will send the missing item at no cost or refund it — your choice. Lost packages are covered the same way: free replacement or full refund (see our Returns & Refunds page).

We want you to be happy with your purchase. If you are not, here is how returns work — no guilt, no runaround.

Return window

You have 30 days from the date of delivery to request a return.

What qualifies

We accept returns on items that are unused or defective. You do not need both — either one qualifies. If your pet sniffed the bed but it is otherwise in clean, undamaged condition, that counts as unused. If something arrived broken or stopped working within normal use, that is defective.

How to start a return

Two easy ways — pick whichever suits you:

• Email: contact@petsdad.com with your order number and a brief note about why you are returning.
• Contact form: use the form on our Contact page — include your order number in the message.

Either way, we will reply within one business day with next steps and the return address.

If your order never arrives

If your tracking has not moved for 5 business days, or your order has not arrived within the delivery window on our shipping page, contact us. We will investigate with the carrier and — if the package is lost — send a free replacement or issue a full refund, your choice. You will never be left paying for an order that did not arrive.

If you receive the wrong item

If we sent you the wrong product, that is on us. Email a photo of what you received with your order number and we will ship the correct item at no cost or refund you in full — your choice. We cover any return shipping involved.

If your item arrives damaged

Email a photo of the damage with your order number. We will send a replacement or issue a full refund — your choice — and we cover the return shipping.

Refund timeline

Once we receive the returned item and confirm it meets the return criteria, we will process your refund within 5–10 business days back to your original payment method. You will receive an email confirmation when the refund is issued.

Return shipping

For items that arrived damaged, defective, or incorrect, we cover the return shipping cost. For customer-initiated returns (changed your mind, wrong size, pet not interested), return shipping is the customer's responsibility. There is no restocking fee.
